On the bright side, Jen now has the strength to lift her head all the way up like a normal horse. It looks like her rapid weight gain has sort of plateaued. She weight taped at 700 lb. today, and is 14.1H. I suspect that everything she can possibly eat is going to the foal right now, and I don't want to overdo the carbs and risk laminitis. So we continue with all the hay she can eat, and her high protein, high fat, VitaRoyal feed program. She's been dewormed twice so far, and is due again this coming Tuesday, for Ivermectin this time. After this, she will go on a regular schedule. I'm not seeing any signs of a baby impending soon, so we'll keep on keepin' on.
